Board is looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce CPQ Consultant to join our Global Sales & Marketing team. The Senior Salesforce CPQ Consultant will be a critical part of the team responsible for designing, delivering and maintaining strategic solutions within Salesforce CPQ ecosystem.

The role involves analyzing business requirements, recommending optimal CPQ processes, and leading the technical configuration and deployment of CPQ systems. The Senior CPQ Consultant ensures that pricing structures, product configurations, and quoting workflows are efficient, scalable, and compliant with company policies. This position is key in streamlining the sales process and improving sales efficiency. This position will be based in our office in Madrid, Spain.

Responsibilities: 

  • Propose, implement, and manage the implementation of Salesforce CPQ solutions that meet business requirements 
  • Develop implementation estimates and plans for phases of the delivery lifecycle, including development, testing, training, communication, deployment, and post-production support 
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce CPQ designs, leveraging best practices and implementing Salesforce-based solutions to meet or exceed requirements. 
  • Support existing Salesforce CPQ solutions (and related applications), working on development and deployment activities that include requirements definition, conceptual and technical design, system configuration and development, system and acceptance test, go-live, and production turn over 
  • Responsible for configuring, customize and deploy changes related to Salesforce CPQ product rule/price rule and catalog and identify areas of transformation and consolidation 
  • Provide expertise in pricing, quoting, and contract management processes within the Salesforce CPQ platform 
  • Present solution options to customer, evaluating the pros and cons of declarative configuration against code and customization 
  • Perform impact analysis for scope change requests, document changes to requirements, configuration, and data mapping 
  • Participate in training content development and Administrator end-user training delivery 
  • Provide daily functional and technical support for Salesforce CPQ 
  • Support Tier 2 issues submitted by Salesforce Users and identify opportunities for technical debt resolution 
  • Other duties as required to support and meet the needs of day-to-day operations 
  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce CPQ features and functionalities and recommend best practices


What We Look For: 

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills 
  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Business, or related field 
  • 5+ years hands on experience building and maintaining Salesforce CPQ and Advanced Approvals solutions 
  • 5+ years of experience as Salesforce Administrator 
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with packaged applications, preferably Salesforce, implementing full project lifecycles. Other areas of experience may include Oracle CPQ Cloud, Apttus, Oracle Fusion CRM or similar enterprise-level applications 
  • Expert understanding of CPQ pricing waterfall, price rules, product rules, product catalog, approval chains, and order management-based solutions with advanced pricing and configuration capabilities 
  • Experience performing impact analysis for potential changes in scope; ability to administer change management processes within a specified framework, including regularly reviewing issues management and change control logs to understand status and identify potential risk situations 
  • Strong experience with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira and Bitbucket 
  • Understanding of the Salesforce product suite including CPQ, Billing, Salesforce1, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Communities and AppExchange solutions 
  • Understanding of complementary CPQ applications such as DocuSign, MuleSoft 

Certifications:  

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (Required) 
  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist (Required) 
  • Salesforce Service Certified Cloud Consultant (Preferred) 
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (Preferred) 
  • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant (Highly Preferred) 
  • Salesforce Certified Developer (Preferred)
