As Lead AI Engineer - Internal Projects, you will spearhead the development and maintenance of AI solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and innovation across the organization.

You will lead the design and implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, internal AI tools, and automation frameworks that drive productivity and data-informed decision-making across departments. Collaborating closely with both business and technical teams, you will define architecture standards, evaluate technology options, and ensure that all AI integrations are robust, maintainable, and aligned with organizational goals.

Bringing expertise in LLM integration, RAG architectures, vector databases, workflow orchestration, and AI automation design, you will play a pivotal role in delivering reliable, intelligent, and future-ready AI solutions that empower how Board operates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain AI-driven internal systems — including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, AI automation streams, and agent orchestration frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, scope, and implement opportunities for AI integration within business processes.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, APIs, and frameworks that best align with the organization’s technical and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end AI workflows, from data ingestion and model integration to deployment, testing, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure the scalability, robustness, and maintainability of all internal AI projects, establishing standards and best practices for sustainable development.
  • Stay current with advancements in LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks, and apply emerging technologies to strengthen internal capabilities.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineering and business stakeholders, fostering a culture of innovation and responsible AI adoption.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in software architecture and engineering with a strong focus on LLM-based applications and AI system design.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement RAG architectures, integrating retrieval systems, vector databases, and language models into production-ready workflows.
  • Solid understanding of prompt engineering and model evaluation. Experience with AI workflow orchestration (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks) is a plus.
  • System integration skills, particularly in LLM integrations (experience with Azure is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to debugging and optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for business teams.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying at the forefront of LLM, embeddings, and AI infrastructure advancements.
  • Fluency in English.
