Board’s Sales, Renewal, and Professional Services Teams work directly with customers to unleash the power that Board can bring to their organization. The Order Services Team is a partner to these teams by setting and enforcing process standards, completing the ordering process, sending customer invoices, and ensuring internal data reporting accuracy. 

Responsibilities:

As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for tasks such as:   
  • Ordering of licenses and environments
    • Enforce global process standards
    • Validating final documents are correct before sending them out for signatures
    • Completing internal processes to activate orders in the system
    • Communicate with other departments to ensure proper handoffs from Sales / Renewals to Cloud Ops, Premium Support, and Invoicing
    • Set annual billing schedules for multi-year contracts
    • Partner with the Invoicing team to ensure invoices are sent in a timely fashion
  • Supporting Professional Services
    • Enforce global process and project standards 
    • Monitor weekly timesheet and expense submissions and approvals 
    • Maintaining project information in financial applications 
    • Reconciling timesheets for month-end invoicing 
    • Partner with the Invoicing team for month-end invoicing 
  • Ensure data in all applications are properly maintained 
    • Assist in the set-up and maintenance of Professional Service projects  
    • Support PS with regular reviews of project reporting 
    • Validate KPIs are properly calculated in the internal Board application
    • Coordinate needed adjustments with other Order Services teams and Finance
  • Participate in continuous process improvement efforts  
  
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable degree/experience 
  • Previous experience supporting a services business 
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills 
  • Be exceptional at building strong, long-lasting relationships 
  • Motivated, determined, self-starter 
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Able to work against very tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to work remote with the ability to commute to a Board office when needed 
  • Required to be fluent in English with a preference of also speaking a second language (French or German a plus)
  • Knowledge/Experience in multi-dimensional planning software, specifically Board but can also include Anaplan, One Stream, Pigment, IBM, SAP, etc.
  • Proficiency in Certinia (Financial Force) and NetSuite
