We are currently looking for a highly analytical, self-motivated Principal Consultant with a strong background in Financial Consolidation Applications implementation to join our team in Paris. 

As a Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for driving transformative change for our clients by leading complex financial consolidation and close projects, providing exceptional technical and functional guidance to project teams, combined with a solid understanding of consolidation technologies. You will champion best practices in group reporting architecture and industry standards to design solutions that meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations. Your deep knowledge of financial close processes and technical expertise will empower organizations to achieve faster closes, higher data accuracy, and stronger decision-making capabilities.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end Financial Consolidation and Reporting solution implementations, from requirements gathering to go-live
  • Provide technical and functional guidance to project teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption
  • Collaborate with clients to understand statutory and management reporting  requirements, and design solutions that meet IFRS/local GAAP standards
  • Manage client relationships, build trust and credibility, and serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, finance teams, and consolidation managers
  • Acquire and maintain deep knowledge and skills of BOARD products and technologies
  • Support business development activities, including proposal writing, solution scoping, and client presentations Assist the Board Pre-sales Team during the preparation of a Proof of Concept (POC) and product demonstrations
  • Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in BI/CPM, group reporting, consolidation and financial planning; and share that knowledge and insights with clients and colleagues
  • Contribute to thought leadership and best practices development, including the creation of whitepapers, presentations, and other content to showcase our expertise within financial consolidation
  • Act as a subject matter expert on group consolidation and reporting processes with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist new Partners in fostering their knowledge on Board Consolidation Solution capabilities and latest offerings, to enable them in managing successful implementations
 
What we look for:
  • Proven experience in Financial Consolidation and Reporting Project Implementations
  • Experience with implementation of consolidation tools such as SAP FC, Tagetik, Onestream, Anaplan, Lucanet, Talentia, Prophix, Kshuttle, Amelkis, Insight Software
  • Background in Financial Planning & Analytics and Financial Consolidation, together with a deep understanding of financial close cycle and best practices 
  • Experience creating consolidated financial statements for public and private companies, combined with a good knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS accounting standards 
  • Experience with intercompany eliminations and proven data-reconciliation skills 
  • Experience with multi-dimensional systems
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • Previous experience in designing and executing POCs will be considered a plus
  • Fluency in French (native) and English (fluent)
  • Outstanding presentation skills and ability to communicate at senior levels
  • Availability to travel, mainly domestically.
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
