Role Overview

We are looking for a Solution Engineer to join our DACH Presales team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on Board implementation experience who is confident working with customers and ready to take ownership in presales engagements.

As a Solution Engineer, you will act as a key partner to Sales, leading solution discussions, delivering impactful demonstrations, and shaping how customers understand the value of Board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver engaging product demonstrations, workshops, and solution presentations
  • Translate customer requirements into tailored Board solution designs
  • Act as a trusted advisor by bringing real implementation experience into customer conversations
  • Own and drive proof of concepts (PoCs) and technical validation activities
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Consulting, and Product teams on strategic deals
  • Support RFP/RFI responses and proposal development
  • Continuously build expertise in Board capabilities, use cases, and competitive positioning
  • Contribute to best practices, demo assets, and knowledge sharing within the Presales team
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience with Board platform implementations
  • Strong customer-facing experience (consulting, implementation, or presales)
  • Ability to independently lead workshops and solution discussions
  • Solid understanding of business processes (e.g., FP&A, supply chain, operations)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • Ability to connect technical solutions to business value
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in presales or solution engineering
  • Experience in enterprise planning / EPM / BI environments
  • Familiarity with DACH market and customer expectations
  • Experience supporting complex or enterprise sales cycles
Working Model
  • Location: DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
  • Work setup: Hybrid / Remote with travel for customer engagements
  • Reporting line: Head of Presales DACH
